Customizing Industrial Solar Power Solutions in Montgomery County Pennsylvania

  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Michael Morgan: Brian Sperty did a great job repairing my dry wall from the solar installation. He also painted the area.
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Brian Seip: It’s been just over one year since my installation and the system is working great.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Jeff Chapman: Lumina Solar is the way to go. Jack Wood was our rep and explained everything in detail. Our project was pushed back by a couple of days due to snow and high winds (install was in January), but the guys came out on Saturday and Sunday to finish up and get back on schedule. I received quotes from 2 other companies and Lumina was right in the middle. The company with the low offer did not have the length of warranty that Lumina has. They did not have many positive reviews, and I did not get that warm and fuzzy feeling from their very pushy sales guy. The high quote was more than double what Lumina came in at. They also said that their panels would be able to cover 100% of my electric usage. When I sent Jack my electric bills he was shocked at how much we use (family of 8, work from home, kids home schooled, etc). He was honest and said there is no way that we could get 100% covering our existing roof panels. we would need another 10 panels. He said their panels will only produce about 75% of our electric usage. He is spot on for the last 7 months. I am planning on a roof over our patio in the next couple of years and I will definitely be using Lumina to cover that roof with panels.
  4. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by charles grebe jr: i see all the good reviews, where are the true reviews, i got nothing these people promised, i have their solar and still get big bills from met ed, opposite of what i was told, i was told they put a bigger setup on than needed and i would get money from met ed every year for what they used but instead get bills from met ed, and forget about calling salesman, he never returns calls, wish i never dealt with these people, this month, 167.00 out of my account for lumina and 144.00 bill from met ed, more than i ever paid, single man living alone
  5. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by MAMAS Midwives: Worked with Ryan Cook from Lumina and it could not have been easier. He arranged for all the inspection and permits and paperwork and installation, and his team is super responsive and helpful. The inspector even noticed a dangerous hanging wire about to fall off of our house after a previous storm, and saved us from possible electrocution by contacting Pepco to fix it before moving forward. Once it was installed, and all the permits were in, we got permission from Pepco to turn it on, and we just had to flip a switch and voilà! Solar power! Wish we had done it years ago. Bonus: we gave our code to our son and he got solar power in his house and Lumina gave him a discount and sent us a referral fee!
  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Jason Cimino: Lumina Solar installed our system a little over a year ago and it has been operating flawlessly. I cannot speak more highly of experience we had and the service we received. We have known the co-founder of Lumina for a very long time and couldn’t be more impressed with the company they are building. If you are interested in solar Lumina is a must!! We worked with my brother Andrew Cimino who is a consultant and project manager for them and received the highest level of customer service, personally I do not like to mix business with family but he is amazing. Ask to work with Andrew!
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Alicia Sheller: I will admit I was very skeptical about going solar because I had been receiving cold calls about it for months and none of these companies that called seemed professional or knowledgeable (in fact, they were calling me and often they were the ones to hang up on me). When I met with Courtney from Lumina Solar I was astounded by the amount of incorrect information that I had been hearing and she showed me the data to back up what they were saying. Courtney built a cohesive plan for my home and walked me through it from start to finish. The presentation was easy and comfortable and she answered all of my questions and made sure I understood everything. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but she created a plan that was best for ME, letting me know she has my best interests at hand. I am 100% certain my home is in the best possible hands and I am so excited to be going solar. I highly recommend Lumina Solar (and Courtney) if you are looking to go solar, you won't be disappointed!
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by melissa olsen: We reached out to multiple companies about installing a rather large system on our property. Not only was Lumina competitively priced they offered the best warranty. From the first interaction with our sales rep (Phillip Jordan) we knew we were in good hands. He has consistently gone above and beyond for us (even after our installation was complete) and I cannot recommend working with him enough. There were a few hiccups in communication throughout the process but Phillip (and Lumina) were quick to resolve everything. Everyone who worked on our project at our home treated it like their own home. They knew a clean install was important to us, and the final result shows it. You can't ask for much more out of any contractor. We are extremely pleased with not only the system, but their service from start to finish, and cannot recommend them enough. In the event we need to add onto our current system, we will be reaching out to them again.
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Shaun Oberc: Professional team made the process super easy, and was able to answer all of my questions
  10. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Amanda Rahi: Excellent experience all around. I had been considering going solar for quite some time and had looked into a number of companies. It wasn't until I spoke to Philip at Lumina that I decided to move forward. He was very helpful every step of the way and made the entire process easy and straightforward. Also, the whole crew at Lumina was very professional and did great work. I highly recommend!

  • Grid parity: Grid parity occurs when the cost of producing solar or wind energy becomes equivalent to or less than the expense of purchasing power from the power grid. Achieving Grid parity means that green energy sources are cost-effectively competitive with fossil fuel-based coal, oil, natural gas.
  • Mains electricity: Mains electricity serves as the standard electrical power supplied to residences and businesses through a grid of power lines, providing a reliable source of energy for different appliances. It typically operates at a voltage of around 120V or 230V, according to the country, and is supplied through AC power.
  • Balance of system: Balance of system (BOS) pertains to all parts of a solar power system apart from the photovoltaic panels, comprising inverters, racking, wiring, and additional electrical hardware. It is crucial for guaranteeing the effective and reliable operation of a solar energy installation.
  • Solar energy: The sun's power is harnessed from the solar radiation using PV panels to produce electricity or through solar thermal systems to generate heat. It is a green, renewable, and planet-friendly power supply that reduces reliance on fossil fuels.
  • Applications of photovoltaics: Photovoltaics are widely utilized in home, business, and factory sites to generate green, sustainable electricity from sunlight. They also drive remote and off-grid locations, delivering green energy solutions where standard power grids are absent.
  • List of solar-powered products: A collection of solar-powered products features a selection of devices that harness sunlight to produce energy, encouraging eco-friendly and renewable living. These products include ranging from solar chargers and lights to home equipment and outdoor equipment, delivering flexible options for energy needs.
  • Photovoltaic power station: An solar power plant is a plant that converts sunlight immediately into electricity using solar modules. It is a sustainable energy source that helps reduce reliance on non-renewable energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Solar hybrid power systems: Solar hybrid power systems combine solar panels with additional energy sources, such as wind or diesel generators, to deliver a reliable and efficient power supply. They maximize energy use by balancing renewable resources and backup options, cutting reliance on fossil fuels and cutting overall emissions.
  • Concentrated photovoltaics: Concentrated photovoltaics employ optical lenses or reflectors focusing solar radiation onto advanced photovoltaic cells, greatly enhancing power output using a smaller area. This method works well in areas with direct, strong sunlight and provides a promising approach to lowering solar power costs.
